BGA believes that Business Schools should innovate and venture beyond conventional means of teaching and research, and this is reflected in the services delivered to BGA’s member institutions.
BGA’s educational membership is exclusively structured and tailored to give Business Schools the tools they need, in order to gain a competitive advantage and a leading edge to help them serve their core markets of students and employers. This is achieved by supporting their positive impact on stakeholders, teaching of responsible management, and lifelong learning initiatives
BGA offers consultation services designed to support Business Schools improve programme design and delivery; lifelong learning initiatives; alumni relations activities; marketing and admissions strategies; and more.
BGA member institutions are able to access a complimentary in-depth desktop review once per annum, which delivers a thorough analysis of a specific area of the Business School’s activities of choice. The review includes a report that provides recommendations for improvement against AMBA & BGA accreditation criteria. Alongside this, Business Schools have the option to opt-in for direct mentorship by a highly-experienced Business School professional.
Member institutions join an exclusive network of ambitious Business Schools that can enjoy networking opportunities facilitated by BGA, where BGA can introduce you to another member in our network with similar goals and aspirations. BGA hosts award-winning international events across the globe aimed at Business School professionals.
BGA supports member Business Schools through a thriving PR outreach strategy and our international magazine and online publications, through which we can support you in raising awareness of your School’s achievements. This includes the promotion of member Schools research inititatives and the invitations to contribute to BGA’s online and print magazine that is circulated to thousands of Business School leaders globally. Business School faculty also receive the opportunity to promote their own research and whitepapers via BGA’s Trailblazer Webinar series to the rest of the network.
BGA’s student and graduate membership platform has been designed from the ground-up to give members access to CV building services, jobs search, skill assessments, thought-leadership, partner discounts and much more. As a member Business School, all your students receive free complimentary access to BGA’s bespoke Career Development Centre, thought leadership, competitions, and much more.
Member institutions have the ability to pursue BGA validation, an offsite assessment of a Business Schools’ ability to meet nine criteria based on the BGA Charter, that build upon the pillars of positive impact, responsible management, and lifelong learning.
Validation requires participating Business Schools to submit a range of information to evidence its ability to meet the criteria while detailing existing activities that support the continuous improvement of the Business School, that positively impacts stakeholders. The methodology used to support the achievement of validation allows the Business School to build a framework for data and information collection and identify areas of improvement that will support it in achieving the ultimate goal of accreditation.
As a member institution, you Business School can engage into BGA accreditation, a non-prescriptive and impact-focused whole-institution quality assurance process, which examines a range of programmes, including certificate and online courses. Utilising BGA’s Continuous Impact Model (CIM), which is designed to offer Business Schools the ability to pinpoint areas of improvement and measure their change in impact over time, athrough the modification of inputs.
This approach encourages Business Schools to experiment with, and adapt programmes and courses, while using BGA’s criteria and CIM to measure the success of their implementations
